Cheyenne's Senior Session | Boise Idaho Photographer

August 17, 2014

There are a handful of times in your life which mark major milestones and will stay with you forever.  These moments mark exciting and scary moments in your life; major milestones that make a complete change in your course.  Entering your senior year of high school is one such course.  For some kids, finishing their senior year and graduating with their diploma is harder given that they are 18, now an adult, and yet still required to go to a "kids" school.  For others the pressures of senior photos, compass tests, ACT or SAT test stresses, homecoming, prom, class ring, graduation, grad parties - 9 months is packed with a million little things all while everyone expects you to go to class, study, get good grades and for some kids keep a job.  Then graduation day comes and goes and your left wondering what now.  Everything comes to a screaching halt; you are no longer planning for anything from day to day.  School is out.  Maybe you have a job or you have nothing to do until you get ready to go to school the following fall.  Whatever it is, it doesn't go without saying that your senior year of high school is a huge changing point in your life.

I had the pleasure of spending time with Cheyenne yesterday.  She is a bubbly and beautiful girl entering her senior year at Rocky Mountain High School.  We went downtown to Freak Alley and walked around the downtown area while capturing beautiful shots.  Her eyes and lips are so stunning.  She could totally be a model.

Cheyenne plans to go to college to become a pastry chef.  I wish her the very best of luck and know with her spunk and determination she will definitely succeed in life.  Enjoy a picture or two of her senior shoot below.  You haven't seen the last of her either.  She and I are going out again come winter to get more great shots.
